"Ever since I can remember, I wanted to make a positive impact on the world..."
Imagination-filled, 9-year-old me wanted to be a chef.
Psychology-focused, 13-year-old me dreamt of working as a psychiatrist.
Globally minded, 18-year-old me even toyed with the idea of international diplomacy and non-profit leadership.
Upon graduation from university as a double language major with a minor in business, I was curious how the unique pieces of my skill set in foreign languages, communication, and creative thinking would fit into the puzzle of my career path.
… and then I discovered UX design!
It finally felt like all of the ingredients were coming together: a true outlet to leverage my passion for people, curiosity for the human experience, and drive to make a real difference.
While my ideal job title has varied greatly over the years, my desire to make genuine connections with others and find creative solutions to our pain points – whether big or small – has remained steadfast.
In the words of Lyndon B. Johnson, “If you’re not listening, you’re not learning,” and I’m pleased to be working in a field that allows me to listen and learn from others so thoughtfully.

Life outside of design

Creating
At a canvas painting cafe

Devouring
At a local pizza spot

Traveling
At a cherry blossom-lined river

When I'm not designing, I love to spend my free time playing the latest Nintendo games, finding new recipes, and studying foreign languages (I speak 3!)
